Flooding and water damage
A burst pipe, a washing machine failure, a sewer backup. The estimate may include new flooring, painting and plumbing repair.
Fire and smoke damage

Frequently asked questions
What should damage documentation for the insurer include?
Usually a description of the incident, photos of the damage, the damage spots on a plan and a repair estimate with materials and labor. In the calculator you have it in one project: the description, the photos, the markers on the plan and a PDF estimate. Check your insurer’s requirements with them.
How does the AI help to estimate the damage?
The AI reads the description of the damage and sets the rooms, the area and the kind of work. From that the app works out a preliminary estimate at the prices in the app. It is usually wider than the repair itself: you remove what the damage does not concern and add damage work such as drying. In the version for companies you add a margin, a discount and VAT.
Can I use the calculator for flood damage?
Yes. Describe what was flooded and the AI sets the rooms and the kind of work, such as painting the walls and the ceiling. The app works out a preliminary estimate. Check it and fit it to the damage before you send it.
What does the PDF estimate look like?
The PDF has your company’s and the client’s details, the project description, a summary, the plan with markers and a table of comments, and the work and materials with quantities and prices. You choose the sections in the estimate settings. You can also export the data to XLS.
Can I share the project with the loss adjuster?
Yes. You share a read-only link or give a chosen person access: read, edit or admin. In the estimate settings you choose item tables without prices for the adjuster's PDF.
How is the damage calculator different from the renovation calculator?
It is the same app. This page shows how to use it for damage: a description of the damage for the AI, markers on the plan and a PDF with the plan for the insurer or the loss adjuster.
