AI Calculator—Roofing Work Calculator
How does it work?
From the house area to a roof quote with materials
Describe the job
Roof or house area, roof pitch, covering and the old covering to remove. From the description, AI sets the job type: new covering; gutters, roof windows or insulation without covering; a repair; or roof washing, sealing or painting. Flashing without a new covering is entered in lin. m.
Check the items
Covering with membrane, removal, gutters, flashing, materials with quantities and travel per km. The “Measurement and on-site estimate” item is priced at 0. You change every price.
Send the quote
A PDF estimate for the client. The template has one VAT rate, 8% (residential building within the floor-area limit; otherwise 23%), which you can change.
What the work looks like in the app
Real screens from a sample apartment estimate, with made-up client details.
The app is in Polish today, so the screens below are Polish. An English version is in preparation.
You describe the job, AI sets up the project
Write what needs doing or add a photo of the floor plan. AI sets the floor area, the number of rooms and the scope of work, and you see the estimate amounts straight away.
- Every parameter AI set is marked
- Click it and correct it before the estimate goes to the client

Labor with working time
Every labor category has an amount and the number of working days for the crew, and you decide whether the client sees the time. Next to it you see a summary of every part of the estimate. Items you repeat can be saved in your own library (in PRO for companies) and added to the next project.

You decide what the client sees
Choose what goes into the estimate and which details to show: items, completion time, price notes. The PDF goes out with your company's details.

Sharing and export
Access for a chosen person: read, edit or admin. The public read-only link is in PRO for companies. Export to PDF and XLS, and a company account can also upload its own price list from an .xlsx file.

Your company page in the directory
Build your company page from ready sections: about, location, services, projects and reviews.

On site from your phone
It is the same app: the project, the list of jobs and item details without a laptop.

What the calculator gives a roofer
A roof quote with gutters, flashing and debris removal in one estimate.
Roof from the house footprint
When the client gives only the building footprint, the roof m² is worked out from the footprint and roof pitch: from 1.15 × footprint for a flat roof to 1.9 × footprint for a steep one.
Four coverings
Metal roof tiles, roof tiles, standing seam metal or roofing felt on boarding. Covering material with 7% extra; for coverings other than felt, membrane with battens and counter-battens. You prepare 2–3 offer variants, e.g. with metal roof tiles and with ceramic roof tiles, with “Duplicate project”: in the copy you change the covering. A copy uses points, with a PRO Subscription too, taken only once the copy succeeds.
Removal and asbestos-cement sheets
Removal of metal sheeting, roof tiles and felt per m², with a dumpster for debris removal. Asbestos-cement sheets (eternit) have separate items per m²: removal, and transport and disposal. The removal item assumes a company licensed for asbestos work.
Gutters and flashing
PVC or steel gutters, downpipes, edge, chimney and valley flashing, roof vents. With a new covering, the template estimates the length of gutters and flashing from the house’s building footprint, or without it from the roof m² and pitch. For gutters only, enter the lin. m of gutters.
Repair without a new roof
For a repair or inspection: an inspection with roof access and small sealing jobs per unit, and covering repair per m². Gutters, flashing, roof windows and attic insulation are counted from the quantities in the description.
Roof washing and painting
Pressure washing per m² with a surcharge for moss and fungus removal, a two-coat sealing of roof tiles, and painting metal or tile roofs with washing before painting. The painting rate depends on the covering. When the client has the paint, the labor stays.
Roof truss, windows, attic
Roof truss replacement per m² of roof, installing roof windows with a flashing kit and insulating the attic with mineral wool are separate items.
Sample jobs
Typical jobs and how the calculator sets them up. You set your own prices.
Asbestos-cement sheets to metal roof tiles, house with approx. 100 m² footprint
From the building footprint and a typical pitch, the template works out the roof m², asbestos-cement sheet removal and disposal per m², the new covering with membrane, gutters and flashing.
Plain clay tiles on 180 m² of roof slope, client’s tiles
The client has bought the tiles and the gutters stay. The template works out the labor: removing the old metal sheeting, installing the tiles with membrane, flashing and debris removal.
Gutter replacement with steel, approx. 40 m
Job type “gutters, flashing, windows, insulation”—the template works out gutters, downpipes and removal of the old gutters.
Painting metal roof tiles, a house with approx. 100 m² footprint
From the footprint and a typical pitch, the template works out 155 m² of roof, pressure washing before painting, painting the metal roof tiles and the paint.
Try it on your own project
Describe the job or add a photo of the floor plan. Your first AI analysis costs nothing, and you see the full estimate in PRO.
Works with the other tools
Data moves with one click. Each tool also works on its own, and nothing is saved without your say-so.
Contract and estimate with the project data
Open the document generator from the project menu. Client, address, scope and amounts are already in. Send the contract to the client to sign online, and after the job prepare an acceptance report, plus an addendum when the scope changes.

Acceptance report after the job
Below the contract in the generator, choose a work acceptance report or a contract addendum. The parties, address and contract date carry over on their own, and the client signs the report on the screen.

- Chrome extension

A product from a shop straight into the estimate
The Chrome extension takes what the shop gives—usually the name, photo and price—from the shop page into the project and room you choose. Whatever the shop does not give, you select on the page and say what it is—a name, a price, a dimension, a color, a finish, a material, a catalog number, the manufacturer or the supplier. In October 2026 we checked it on 24 Polish online shops; it is not limited to selected partners.

A QR code on the contract from the generator
The PDF ends with a QR code. Your client checks with a phone that the PDF file is the same document as the printout.

Questions about quoting roofing work
Is washing before painting included?
No, it is a separate item: with painting, the template adds pressure washing of the same roof area. When the description mentions moss, lichen or algae, a surcharge for fungus removal per m² is added.
Does sealing come with the product?
Yes. Sealing roof tiles has the labor (two coats with cleaning) and the product as material per m². When the client has their own product or paint, only the labor stays.
How does the template work out the roof area?
From the footprint and the roof pitch. When the description gives no pitch, the template assumes a typical 30–45° roof. You change the pitch and the roof m² in the template questions.
Are gutters priced with a new roof covering?
Yes. When the description gives no length, the template estimates it from the footprint, or without a footprint from the roof m² and pitch. When the existing gutters stay, say so in the description or check it in the template questions.
